Yikes! San Diego SDGE rates — what's up?!

Just another gent from San Diego who has been fighting high energy prices.

A few years ago, my SDGE bill just kept ticking upward—from around $570 a month to $770, then $870. What was going on? My electricity bill in a house without air conditioning shouldn't have been closing in on the grocery budget for my whole family.

I took action and put a lot of time into deciphering SDGE's confusion-inducing bills, rate plans, and peak-hour pricing. My bill went from $870 to around $300—and that's with a wonderful air conditioner keeping me cool.

A bit of research proved to be a wise investment. Now I'm passing these tools on to you, so you can shave some costs off your bill while staying comfortable.

My Mission — save you (and me) some money!
